Jo Ree Clark

Jo Ree Clark, 81 of Morganton died Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Born August 18, 1934 in Davidson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Matthew Tysinger and Mildred Irene Swicegood Tysinger. She attended El Bethel Baptist Church. Her late husband, Rev. Amos Conley Clark was pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church where Jo Ree was bookkeeper and pianist.

Surviving are her son, Paul C. Clark and wife, Lynn of Morganton; a daughter, Jolee Harney and husband, Larry of Morganton; brothers, Joel Tysinger and wife, Sharon, and Steve Tysinger and wife, Linda all of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Adree Clark Williams and husband, Randy Lee Williams, II of Rancho Cordova, CA, Todd C. Clark of Charlotte, and Clark H. Harney of Morganton; and great grandchildren, Randy Lee Williams, III, Miles Conley Williams, and Fisher McCall Williams all of California.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at El Bethel Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Ron Cooper officiating. A private entombment for her family will follow at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial gifts may be made to The Gideons International,
