Joan Lane Roy-McCall

Joan Lane Roy-McCall, 65, of Morganton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.  Born on an Air Force Base in Newfoundland, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Fred Evans Lane and Virginia Cottrell Lane.  Joan was a member of Whitnel First Baptist Church.  Joan was a homemaker and an avid animal lover.  She loved going to the park with her grandson, Aidan.

Joan is survived by her husband, Stephen McCall of the home; daughter, Amy Poovey (Alan) of Conover; grandson, Aidan Poovey; brother, Chris Lane (Robyn) of Charleston, SC; niece, Savannah Lane; and her little dog, Tucker.

The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Stuart White officiating.  The family will greet friends in the cemetery following the service.
