Joanne Marie Haller Stokes, 62, of Morganton, NC passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at her residence. Born in Guam on February 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Belmont Leroy Haller and Mary Louise Mullen Haller. Joanne was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Joseph Stokes of the home; a son, Patrick Michael Stokes of the home; a daughter, Charleen Stokes of Morganton; a sister, Brenda Haller of CA; a brother, Jim Haller of Hickory, NC; and a number of nephews and nieces.In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her daughter, Tasha L. Williamson; and a brother, Michael Haller.No services are planned at this time.Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
