JoAnne Phillips Anderson

JoAnne Phillips Anderson, 66, of Boomer, NC went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 3 2018.  Born in Burke County, NC on June 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Clifford A. Phillips and June Cannon Phillips.

JoAnne is survived by her husband, Ronnie Anderson of the home; sons, Jon Michael Killion and wife, Karla, of Newton, NC, Michael Wayne Anderson and wife, Kim, of Boomer, and Robbie Anderson and wife, Kimberly, of Millers Creek, NC; grandchildren, Camryn, Ashley, Iliana, Dustin, Dakota, Lacy, Lauren, Kristen, Elizabeth, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Sophia, and Jaxon; sister, Jann P. Harding of Marietta, GA; nephew, Marc Harding and wife, Mati; and great-nieces, Mia and Emma of Marietta, GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, June Elaine Foster and husband, Steve.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center in Morganton.  The funeral will be held at 12 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Fred Staley officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Valdese.
