Jodi “JoJo” Pychon, 23, of Statesville, NC was tragically called to her eternal home on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Born on January 2, 1995 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of Rex Pychon of Arizona and Heather Pychon (Roger Lytton) of Statesville.
Jodi loved crafts, especially origami. She volunteered at a horse ranch that specialized in working with children with special needs. Jodi had a big heart and loved to help others.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Courtney Pychon (Pablo) of Gastonia, Justin Lipe of Statesville, and Caitlyn Pychon of Arizona; nephew, Jonah; nieces, Ariella and Adriana; uncle, Jackie Bragg; aunts, Rita Lytton, Carla Boone, and Michelle Asberry; and many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
Jodi was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Billie K. Davis and Jackie L. Bragg; maternal great-grandparents, George and Willie Thompson; fraternal grandparents, Roger “Pappy” Pychon and Linda Spradlin; and fraternal great-grandparents, Rexie C. Pychon and Virginia P. Todaro.
The family will have a memorial service in Beckley, WV this spring.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
