Joe Wilson

Joe Wilson, 45, of Morganton and formerly of Marion passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.  Born in McDowell County, NC on July 3, 1973, he was the son of Faye Cable Wilson of Marion and the late Terry Samuel Wilson.  He was working at Valdese Weavers and was loved by everyone.  He enjoyed listening to music.

A dedicated family-man, Joe is survived by his fiancée, Misty Lewis of Morganton; children, Cody Wilson, Rachel McIntosh, Kelsey Wilson, Joseph Wilson, and Mallory Wilson, all of Morganton; a granddaughter, Samara McIntosh; brother, Johnny Wilson of Marion; special aunt, Kathy Wilson; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.
