John Blankenship

John Blankenship, 57, of Morganton, NC died Sunday, March 6, 2011. Born in Burke County, NC on August 15, 1953, he was the son of the late Jack Bostic Blankenship and Sarah Irene McCurry Blankenship.John is survived by his four children, a brother, a half-sister, and several grandchildren.The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Lighthouse Ministries with Rev. Donna O’Neal and Linda Perrigan officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to assist with funeral expenses. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
