Joseph Harold Norville

Joseph Harold Norville, 70 of Morganton, NC passed away, Monday, May 16, 2022. Born on February 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Joseph Ray Norville and Anita Ray Taylor Norville. Joseph was a member of Rainhill Wesleyan Church. He was an avid antique car and motorcycle lover. Joseph was a humble, kind and caring man who would help anyone. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Ruby Goins Norville; daughter, Robin Harding (Vander); son, Joseph Adam Norville; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Norville (Judy), Doug Norville (Linda); sisters, Margaret Bradley (Ben), Helen Morrow (Deron).

In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his brother Larry Norville.

The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11am, Saturday, May 21, 2022 in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sandy Level Church in Rutherfordton, NC.
