Joseph "Lee" Wishion

Joseph "Lee" Wishion, 48, of Moon Drive, Nebo, NC, died Monday, June 25, 2007 at his residence following a period of declining health. Born in Burke County, NC, on December 7, 1958, he was the son of the late James Franklin Wishion, Sr. and Agnes Evelyn Norville Epley.Lee is survived by his sons, Matthew Wishion and Joey Wishion, both of Morganton; daughters, Brittany Wishion of Columbus, GA, and Nikki Wishion of Morganton; brothers, Junior Wishion of Waynesville, NC, Eddie Wishion of Marion, NC, Allen Epley of Nebo; a granddaughter, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Reverends Rick Speagle and Darvy Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. At other times the family will be at the residence of Allen Epley, 108 Moon Drive, Nebo. Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O.
