Joyce Ann Ryneer

Joyce Ann Ryneer, 61, of Morganton, NC died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at her residence. Born in Las Cruces, NM on October 12, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Mike Ingram Elledge and Vera Mae Webb Elledge. Joyce moved to Morganton in 1995 and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Joyce was very active in Volunteer Services in Army Emergency Services (AER) and at the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center. Her life was spent joyfully serving the Lord, her church, and reaching out to others.Joyce is survived by her husband, Robert Ryneer of the home; sons, Richard Ryneer and his wife, Lisa, of Houston, TX and Michael Ryneer and his wife, Kay, of Williston, SC; a daughter, Tammy Lee Ryneer of Morganton; grandchildren, McKaley and Blake Ryneer and Kaleb and Hayden Castle; and brothers, Charles Elledge of Las Cruces, NM and Walter Elledge of Morganton.In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Elledge.The funeral will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Heritage Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Buchanan officiating.
