Judith Lynne Marsh

Judith Lynne Marsh, 77 of Morganton, NC, formerly of Durham, NC passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 following a seven year battle with breast cancer. She was born June 7, 1940 in Oil City, PA and was the daughter of the late C. Russell Marsh and Mable Wise Marsh. Judith was a devoted mother who loved her family, from whom she received much of joy. She worked for over 20 years as a child support advocate for Durham County. Judith enjoyed gardening and singing in the church choir.
She is survived by daughters, Karen Brazinski and husband, Dr. Mark Brazinski of Morganton, Amy Bayliff of Phoenix, AZ, and Suzanne Lawton and husband, Dr. Michael Lawton of Paradise Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Michael, Connor, Luke, and Gabriella Brazinski, Sydney and Reece Bayliff, and Alexandra, Simone, Blake, and Sophia Lawton.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Metastatic Brest Cancer Research at www.bcrf.org.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
