Judy B. Brown

Judy B. Brown, 61, of Piney Road, Morganton, NC died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Grace Hospital. Born in Burke County, NC on December 2, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Reid Bollinger and Jesseco Walker Bollinger. Judy was a former employee of Kimble Glass, Premier Hosiery, Burke Yarn, and Duracell.Judy is survived by her husband, Troy Brown of the home; daughters, Vanda Benfield and husband, Edward, and Ellen Williams and husband, Mark, all of Morganton; grandchildren, Mikkaylla Ann Benfield and Miranda Nikkolle Benfield; and a brother, Larry Bollinger and wife, Tilly, of Granite Falls, NC.In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by brothers, Conley Smith and Broadus Smith.The memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2009 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Lefevers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:oo until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
