Judy Kay Abee

Judy Kay Abee, 67, of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Born June 8, 1953 in Burke County, she was a daughter of the late Frank John Chapman and Elsie Mae Smith Chapman. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt that loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Abee was preceded in death by daughter, Tania Abee and siblings, Bonnie Ross, Azalee Franklin, Edith Pritchard, Shirley Teague, and Betty Carter.

Mrs. Abee is survived by husband, Ronald “Jack” Abee; children, Tommy Abee and Renee Sprouse (Tim); grandchildren, Kayla Abee, Abigail Sprouse, Kali Sprouse, Natalie Denton, and Emma Denton; and siblings, Eula Baker, Dianne Harvey, Carolyn Norville, Mattie Satterwhite, and Doris Hoilman.

The family will have a service at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
