Julian "Juju" Harris

Julian “Juju” Harris, 63, of Morganton passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Born in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on October 12, 1954, he was the son of Betty Jan Harris and the late Delmore Gene Harris. Juju enjoyed gardening and cooking, he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed traveling. Mr. Harris loved his wife and children.

A loving and caring husband and father, Juju is survived by his wife, Julia Harshaw Harris of the home; sons, Brandon Lewis, Julian “Little Juju” Lewis, Christopher “Manny” Williams, Joseph Gunn, and Justin Gunn; daughter, Crystal Williams; brother, Delmore “Pinok” Harris; sisters, Vanessa Griffin, Trina Durham and Kita Harris.

In addition to his father, Juju was preceded in death by his other momma, Annie Mae Lark.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Daryl Medley officiating.
