Karen Renee Minish

Karen Renee Minish, 49 of Morganton, NC, passed away, Sunday, January 3, 2021. Born on November 26, 1971, she was the daughter of Roy Smith and the late Loretta Smith. Karen was a member of Praise Assembly and attended Smithhill Church of God. She loved her Lord and really enjoyed going to church anytime she could.

Karen is survived by her husband, Charles Minish; sisters, Peggy Benfield, Brenda Gail Shuping and husband, Andrew; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Karen is preceded in death by her infant son, Charles Alexander Minish.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Praise Assembly Church of God Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow in the church with the Rev. Boyd Biggerstaff officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
