Karl Douglas Duckworth

Karl Douglas Duckworth, 21 of Morganton, NC passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. He was born in Burke County on July 20, 1993. He was the son of Michael Schropp Duckworth of Morganton and Jeri Ann Roberts Duckworth of Lenoir.
Karl was outgoing and loved the outdoors. He was a jokester and was always smiling. Karl lived life to the fullest and did it his way. He enjoyed playing Frisbee Golf and hanging out with friends.
In addition to his parents, Karl is survived by sisters, Amber Freeman and Nels of Rocky Mount, Ashley Duckworth of Rutherfordton, Kaitlyn Duckworth of New Mexico, Christina Duckworth of Kansas; grandparents, Mike and Margo Duckworth of Morganton, Glen and Pat Roberts of Crawfordville, FL; great-grandmother, Lena Price of Morganton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Morganton Seventh-day Adventist Church at 4:00 with Elder Neil Hardin and Dennis Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
