Kathryn Linehan Beane, 75, of Morganton, NC was called Home on Friday, November 22, 2019. Born on December 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Leo Linehan, Sr. and Doris Rae Daughtry Linehan. Kathryn was a member of Catawba Valley Baptist Church. She retired from NC H.U.D. Kathryn was a member of a group of ladies who played cards every Tuesday. She was a horse enthusiast and loved to cook for her friends and family. She was very devoted to her family. Kathryn also loved her roses and lilies.
Kathryn is survived by sons, Randy Bean and Shaun Franken (girlfriend, Cathy McNice); daughter, Michele Franken (John Lasher); grandchildren, Ethan Beane, Dustin Beane, Shaun Dylan Franken, Logan Franken, Marnie Gage Lasher, Casey Kincaid, Jason Kincaid; six great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel L. Linehan, Jr.; and sister, Mary Dana Linehan Icenogle.
Her husband, Malvin Beane, followed her Home on Monday, November 25, 2019.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Kincaid.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at Catawba Valley Baptist Church. The funeral for Kathryn and Malvin will follow at 2 p.m. in the church with Rev. Dean Hart officiating. The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 30 at Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
