I am heartbroken by the loss of Kathy, my best friend of 33 years. She was truly a special person who brought so much joy, love, and kindness into my life, and in the lives of so many others. Over the years we shared countless memories, from our long conversations, to our shared adventures on the lake in the pontoon boat, and I will cherish them always. Her warmth, humor and generous spirit were unmatched and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones during this difficult time. Kathy left an indelible mark on this world and will never be forgotten. With deepest sympathy, Kathy Hartgrove

Kathy Brown will truly be missed. One of my dearest friend and coworker while employed with Mission, she consoled me during some of the most difficult periods of my life. She was always available to work for me during my time of illness and grief. Kim Buchanan, Kathy Brown, Jeanne Poulin and Mandy Ballinger were true friends who gave me the confidence and courage to continue Pulmonary function outside of Mission and explore new avenues with Stanford Healthcare. RIP my sweet girl until we all meet again in our Father’s Kingdom.

Kathy-your passing is heavy on my heart. We met & worked together at Mission Hospital where we clicked almost immediately. Your spontaneous and infectious smile opened my heart and let you in. Kind beyond words, compassionate & non-judgmental, we laughed together while caring for others less fortunate. You glowed when you spoke of your son, how proud you were of him- the love you had for him always & forever. You were one of a kind and I feel truly blessed and honored to have briefly been in your life. God has you solid now & I know your soul will continue to shine in all of us who loved you.
