Kathy Norris Thomas

Kathy Norris Thomas, 63, of Morganton went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.  Born in Johnson County, TN on April 14, 1957, she was the daughter of the Mary Horne Smawley of Morganton and late Mack Conley Norris.  Kathy was a member of Bible Baptist Church.  She was a wonderful, kind-hearted person who loved her family, especially her grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her husband of 38 years, David Thomas, Sr.; children, David Thomas, Jr. and Kayla Thomas; grandchildren, Daygan and Malachi Thomas; and brothers, Danny Norris (Sara) and Tim Norris.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Johnny Norris.

Kathy will be available for viewing from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 27 at Bible Baptist Church Cemetery with Revs. Ricky Watkins and Thurston Green officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
