Kathy Renae Brown, 66, of Connelly Springs, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Born in Mullens, WV on October 22, 1955, she was the daughter of Marjorie Alice Tilley and the late William Theodore Brown. Kathy was raised in the Baptist faith. She worked at the Brian Center for 26 years and enjoyed traveling, animals, and the outdoors.
In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her daughter, Shannon Brown; grandsons, Logan and Jeff Byrd; brothers, Rick Brown and James McKinney; sister, Amy McKinney; and a number of nephews and a niece.
In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by her companion, Don Fox; and brothers, Joe Brown and Mike McKinney.
No public services are planned for Kathy.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
