Keith Nelson Buff, 61 of Morganton went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 14, 2018 following a brief illness. Keith loved his Lord and Savior, but also loved dearly his family especially Dalton and Jessica. Keith loved trading, working with his hands and horses. Keith and Dalton loved doing things together, working on the farm, attending horse and livestock sales and just being together. He also loved doing things with his family. Holidays were always special. Keith attended Burkemont Baptist Church, where he had found a home with his Sunday School class. He also loved reading his Bible and telling others about how good his Lord and Savior had been to him. One of his greatest wishes was for others to know God. He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
He is survived by a son, Dalton Buff; daughter, Jessica Branch and husband Josh; granddaughters, Savannah, Scarlett, and Sophie all of Elon; sister, Shasta Johnson of Morganton; nephew, Brandon Johnson and family; aunt Jean Gantt; cousins, Anita Bridges, Cindy Powell, Juana Scribner and their families. Keith also leaves behind many friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Jeanette Buff of Morganton.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until noon, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Burkemont Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at noon in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Eddy Bunton officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
