Ken Anderson

Ken Anderson, 66, of Morganton, NC died Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Born in Wadena, MN on June 21, 1946, he was the son of the late Kenneth Eugene Anderson, Sr. and Eileen Olson Anderson. Ken was of the Lutheran Faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Toni Souza Anderson of the home; daughters, Dana Anderson Thomas and Paige Anderson, both of Morganton; a grandson, Maxwell Anderson Thomas; a mother-in-law, Nancy Hedderly Sholar of Bermuda Run, NC; a brother-in-law, Craig Souza of Raleigh; an aunt, Sharron Wicht and her husband, Harold, of Minnesota; and three nieces, Jennifer Shimer and her husband, Jonathan, of Virginia, Kimberly Lyons and her husband, Justin, of Illinois, and Kristen Souza of Raleigh, NC.In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth "Brett" Anderson and a brother, Michael Wayne Anderson.

The graveside service will be held at 3:15 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Dr. Bob Shepherd officiating. Military honors will be provided by the N.C. National Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
