Kendra Geraldine Owens Benton, 54, of Morganton died Friday, November 16, 2018. Born in Burke County, NC on June 14, 1964, she was the daughter of Shelby Neal Freeman of Morganton and the late Claude Clayton Owens. Kendra worked as a CNA at College Pines and Morganton Long Term Care. She had also worked at several textile plants.
In addition to her mother, Kendra is survived by her husband, Randy Benton of Taylorsville, NC; three grandchildren; brothers, Dannie and Randy Owens; and her boyfriend, Larry Ebert.
In addition to her father, Kendra was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan C. Biggerstaff; daughter, Amy Elizabeth Biggerstaff; and brother, Lloyd Williams.
No services are planned for Kendra.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
