Kimberly Towery Bojko

Kimberly Towery Bojko, 40, of Gold Creek Bay, Hickory, NC died Wednesday, September 08, 2010 at her residence. Born in Burke County, NC on July 23, 1970, she was the daughter of Hairl John Towery and Martha and Lee Revis. Kimberly was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Freedom High School, and then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Kimberly was employed by Skilled Creations, Inc. She loved music, travel, theater, books, and had a passion for helping people. She was a true gift from God. She had a love of family and life and was known for being quick-witted and very spiritual.Kimberly is survived by her husband, John Richard Bojko of the home; step-sons, Louis and Kristian Bojko of England; step-sisters, Gari Denton and husband, Dan, Gwyn Wilkes and husband, Chad; step-brothers, Barry Lee Revis and Michael Lanigan and wife, Nikey; special uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces; and her many friends.A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum. At other times the family will be at Kim’s home or the home of her mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc, 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690, Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658, or to the Cancer Center at Blue Ridge Healthcare, 720 Malcolm Blvd., Valdese, NC 28690.
