Larry Eugene Norman

Larry Eugene Norman, 76, of Hickory, NC died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Catawba Regional Hospice House. Born May 21, 1937 in Burke County, NC, he was the son of the late Carl Leonard Norman and Margie Deal Norman.Larry is survived by his wife, Molly Hasty Norman of the home; daughters, Jacqueline S. Norman Fuentes and husband, Michael of Seabrook, TX, Dadonna Cherise Klug and husband, Larry of Raleigh, NC; a son, Charles Lawrence Norman and wife, Jody of Raleigh, NC; step-daughters, Kimberly Dawn Litton of Surfside Beach, SC, Dr. Nancy Elizabeth Hendrix and husband, Scott of Shelby, NC, Angela Kay Allen and husband, Darren of Hickory; grandchildren, Ian and Evan Klug, Madeline Fuentes, Charles Lawrence Norman, Jr., step-grandchildren, Tyler, Holly, and Drew Hendrix, Jacob and Noah Litton, Cameron and Sidney Allen; and sisters, Priscilla Moretz and her husband, Ted, and Rachel Griffin and her husband, Ed, both of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Foss of Drexel, NC; and an uncle, Loy Norman and wife, Dean of Valdese, NC.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Ed Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
