Larry Richard Saulman

Larry Richard Saulman, 59, of the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center went home to be tithe Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Valdese Hospital. Larry was born on March 1, 1952 and was the son of the late Albert L. and Frances Taylor Saulman. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Mary Frances Saulman; maternal grandparents, Mark and Hannie Taylor, and a brother, Stephen Eugene Saulman.Larry is survived by his sister, Marie S. Craig and husband, Fred, of Glen Alpine, NC; brother, Ralph L. Saulman and wife, Marilynn, and Charles G. Saulman and wife, Mary, all of Morganton; a number of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and his extended family at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, to whom the family would like to extend a special thanks for all the love and care they gave Larry over the last 43 years.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at The Covenant Center at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center with Chaplain Johnny Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends at the center one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park.
