Larry W. Diamond

Larry W. Diamond, 72, of Morganton, NC, left this old world to a better home in glory with Jesus on Saturday, July 23, 2022.

He was born in Surry County, NC on February 28, 1950.  Larry was a veteran of the US Army and a retired truck driver.  He will be missed by his many friends, including his support group, The Boys, who listened to all his funny driving stories.

Larry is survived by his wife, Helen Kay Diamond; daughter, Angie Rodgers (Jamie); and grandson, Andrew Rodgers.

Larry was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Rufus and Mary Billings.

The graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Goforth officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
