Laura Jane Bollinger Anderson

Laura Jane Bollinger Anderson, 39, of Morganton, NC went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Born in Burke County, NC on July 26, 1972, she was the daughter of Larry Preston Bollinger and Janie Gilbert Bollinger of Morganton. Laura attended Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Freedom High School and King’s College. For a short time she worked as a medical assistant and at Abele’s Family Restaurant. Laura was a very smart and artistic person. She loved writing, painting, and crafts and enjoyed life.In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by her children, Chase and Aerial Anderson, both of Morganton; the father of her children, Brett Anderson; a brother, Jody Main and wife, Adriana, of Rutherford College, NC; a sister, Leslie Bumgarner of Glen Alpine, NC; nieces and nephew, Brittany Main, Olivia Bumgarner, and Preston Bumgarner; and her maternal grandfather, Clarence Gilbert, Sr.A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2012 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. April Abernethy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 5011 Dysartsville Rd., Morganton, NC 28655.
