Lauren Nicole Ramsey, 24, of Morganton, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 11, 2017. She was born in Burke County, NC on January 13, 1993. Lauren was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and attended Freedom High School. She was a loving daughter with a big heart and always had a smile on her face.
Lauren is survived by her children, Dax Chapman and Keraghen Ramsey, both of Morganton; her father, Michael Ramsey and wife, Stacey, of Morganton; her mother, Jannell B. Self and husband, Junior, of Morganton; her paternal grandmother, Linda Ramsey; her paternal great-grandmother, Lucile Ramsey; her maternal grandparents, David and Bonnie Blinson; sisters, Maleah Ramsey and Shelby Jean Ramsey, both of Morganton; and a niece, Peyton Griggs.
The family will receive friends from 12-1pm, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (1698 Conley Road, Morganton). The funeral will be held at 1pm at the church with the Rev. Shawn Thomas and Dr. Steve Sells officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
