Leonard Paul Snow

Leonard Paul Snow, Jr., 59, of Morganton went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, February 18, 2013. Born in Oil City, PA on March 21, 1953, he was the son of the late Leonard Paul Snow and Rose Alice Mae Stanley Snow. He worked for Bell Construction and retired from Drexel Heritage Furnishings.Leonard is survived by his wife, Sherri Thomas Snow of the home; sons, William "Bill" Snow and wife, Danielle, and Shawn Uptegraph Snow; daughters, Lenni Marie Snow, Adrienne Nicole Snow, and Brittany Nicole Snow; grandchildren, Brandon, William, Josh, Ethan, Ashley, Shauna, and Bethany; one great-grandchild; brothers, Harry Snow and Harold "Butch" Snow; sisters, Mary Smith and her husband, Ken, Gloria Cramer, Ruth Howard, Anna Gilbert, and Jenny James; a number of nephews and nieces; and his special friends and caregivers, Preston Minton and Kevin Auten.In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by a son, Michael S. Winegardner; a grandson, Michael D. Winegardner; a brother, Samuel Leonard Snow; and a sister, Cindy Malloy.The funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Reverends Rocky Reese and Jeff Beach officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
