Leta Mae Willis

Leta Mae Willis, 92, of Drexel died Sunday, April 29, 2018.  Born in Burke County, NC on September 15, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Baker and Beulah Mae Powell Baker.  Leta was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughters, Sandra Sawyer of Canada and Patricia Lynch of Drexel; grandchildren, Latosha Turner, Tiffany Turner, and Christina Turner; great-grandchildren, Logan and Marley; sisters, Marlene Maye of Drexel and Teen Morris of New York.

In addition to her parents, Leta was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Leroy Willis.

The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Burke Memorial Park.  The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
