Letha Parker Bradshaw

Letha Parker Bradshaw, 91, of Old NC 18, Connelly Springs died Thursday, August 21, 2008, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born in Lincoln County on November 2, 1916 and was a daughter of the late Chive Z. Parker and Metta Mae Kiser Parker. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and will be remembered as a wonderful cook, housekeeper, and gardener.Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her grandson, David Bradshaw, and his wife, Wendy; her daughter-in-law, Annette Bradshaw, all of Morganton; sisters, Eva Miller, Clara Lee Pizzoli, Guynell Bingham, and Christine Greene; and a brother, Clyde Parker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Everette Bradshaw; her son, Bobby Bradshaw; brothers, Farrell Parker and Ford Parker; and by sisters, Elva Hull and Mable Kistler. Mrs. Bradshaw’s family would like to express their appreciation to her caregivers, Ethel Stamey and Daphine Hudson, for their love and care.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Allan Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
