Lillian Cline Humbert

Lillian Cline Humbert, 94, of Grace Heights, Morganton, NC died Tuesday, July 27, 2009. Born in Savannah, GA on September 11, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Bascombe Cline and Mary McGalliard Cline. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Mike, Ellis, and Bill Cline, and a sister, Virginia Gordon.Lillian is survived by her son, James "Jim" Humbert, Jr. and his special friend, Dolores Park, of Fair Haven, VT; nieces, Gloria Olcher of St. Augustine, FL and Carol Cline Wright of Morganton; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several other nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Sydnor Thompson, III officiating. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
