Lillie Elizabeth Chisholm, 81, of Morganton, NC passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. She was born on November 13, 1943 in Burke County to the late Thomas Dale and Onie Keaver Dale. Lillie was a member of and loved to attend Grace Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Lillie enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marquis Chisholm III; son, James M Chisholm IV; brothers, Clifford and Tom; sister, Faye.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra C. Keller (Kenneth); grandchildren, Scott and Tonya Chisholm; great granddaughter, Cheyenne Parsons; sisters, Hazel, May, Dot, and Margaret.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-5pm, Sunday, December 22, 2024 at her home.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I worked with Lillie at Valdese Weavers when I see her out at the stores I always talked to her I loved her so much she was a great friend I’m glad I got to know her sorry for your loss I will be praying for you and your family I lost my mom December 8th 2024 also Diane Blankenship
