Linda Diane Drury Kiddy, 69, of Morganton, NC, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.
Born in Burke County, NC on June 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Jack Whitley Drury and Mary Ellen Williams Drury. Linda took pleasure in the simple things in life, including going out to dinner and playing bingo. She loved taking care of her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Douglas Eugene Kiddy; sons, Scotty Kiddy, Jason, Kiddy, and Shaun Kiddy (Sonia); grandchildren, Alyssa, Tierza, Bryson, Cole, Hyland, and Lyllian Kiddy; brother, Johnny Drury; and sisters, Lethia Drury, Deloris Buchanan, and Sandra Barnes.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
