Linda “Gail” Woody

Linda “Gail” Woody, 59, of Morganton, NC, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022.  Born in McDowell County, NC on October 18, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Harley Woody and Betty Hise Woody.  Gail had a caring heart and loved her family and cats.  She enjoying painting and crafting, but she most enjoyed being a caregiver.

Gail is survived by her brother, Michael Woody (Cindy); niece, Ashley Woody; great-niece, Shya Drum; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her step-father, John Wiseman; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Poarch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church with Revs. Wallace Smith and Margaret Stump officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
