Linda Iline Duncan

Linda Iline Duncan, 69, of Morganton, NC went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 24, 2016.  Born in Burke County, NC on October 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Bud Stillwell and Hettie Waters Stillwell.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a son, Derick Baldridge; her paternal grandparents, Marston and Minnie B. Stillwell; her maternal grandparents, Hayes and Minnie D. Waters; brothers, Jerry Stillwell and Donald “Tom” Stillwell; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Hall.

Linda was a member of Gibbs Chapel Wesleyan Church.

Left to cherish Ms. Duncan’s memory is her son, Shane Baldridge and his wife, Carmen; a daughter, Angela Baldridge; grandsons, Lucas “Luke” Baldridge and Devin Hall; a granddaughter, Candis O’Durgy; brothers, Richard Stillwell and his wife, Pat, Larry Stillwell and his wife, Brenda, and Lee “Pete” Stillwell and his wife, Hannah; special sisters-in-law, Cecilia Stillwell and Mary Stillwell; a special niece, Pam Stillwell; and a number of other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 29 at Gibbs Chapel Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Chris Uren officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
