Linda J. Ollis

Linda J. Ollis, 55, of N. King St. Morganton, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born August 19, 1955 in Burke County to McDonald Ollis and Ruth Whittington Ollis. Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Allen Rose.In addition to her parents she is survived by her sons, James Donald Ollis and Terry Lynn Lingerfelt, Jr. both of Morganton; a daughter, Brandy Lingerfelt of Morganton; siblings Robert Dean Rose of Morganton, Roy Mackie Ollis of Morganton, Ray Mickie Ollis of Lenoir and Donna Sue Franklin of Spartanburg, South Carolina; grandchildren, Casey and Layla Ollis, Savannah and Cole Lingerfelt and Jordan Edmisten; and a number of extended family members and friends.The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
