Linda Lowery, 73, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Born in Burke County, NC on July 28, 1950, she was the daughter of the late James Earl Smith and Addie Lee Bennett Smith.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dog-mom. She loved creating all types of art.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Tina Huffman-Walker (Scotty) and DeeDee Lowery Allen (Chris); granddaughter, Cassie Baker (Anthony); grandsons, Joshua, Jordan, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Addie Baker and Jude, Lilly, and Colt; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her beloved dog, Daisy Mae.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Lowery; sons, Charlie and Rickey Lowery; and brother, Marshall W. Smith.
The graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Burke Memorial Park with Pastor Brad Browning officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
