Lizzie Higgins Wilson, 75, of Morganton died Thursday, December 21, 2017. Born May 13, 1942 in Yancey County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Burnie Higgins and Elvie Haney Higgins.
Lizzie is survived by a sister, Gladys Massey of Morganton; and a brother, Fred Higgins of Burnsville, NC.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at Burke Memorial Park with the Rev. Ed Stephenson officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
