Lois "Lucille" Frady

Our mom, Lois "Lucille" Frady, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 8, 2011 following a period of declining health. Born in McDowell County, NC on June 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Walter Conner and Dell Mills Conner. Lucille was a member of Muddy Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired textile worker and later was a foster grandparent at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center.Lucille is survived by her sons, Rev. Jim Frady and wife, Reggie, and Randy Frady; a daughter, Susan Keeling and fiancée, Curtis Lail, all of Morganton; brothers, Bobby and Jerry Conner, both of Marion, NC; a sister, Marie Frady of Marion; grandchildren, Taylor Keeling, Spencer Keeling, Trevor Holland, Shannah Johnson, Brandon Presnell, and Todd Frady; and great-grandchildren, Maci, Lake, Landon, Paris, Brooklyn, and Kahlen.In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by three children, Sarah, Lois, and Jimmy.The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Open Door Baptist Church with Reverends Jim Frady and Daniel McMahon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment of the cremated remains will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marion.
