Lois Presnell Stilwell

Lois Presnell Stilwell, 65, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 16, 2017. She was born on March 1, 1952 in Avery County to the late Henry Clay Presnell and Jessie Dare Ward Presnell.
Lois was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed reading and taking trips to the beach with her family, but her true love was spending time with and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Ray Stilwell; daughters, Tonya Lowdermilk (Eddie) and Brandy Hardin; son, Robert Stilwell (Kathy); grandchildren, Katelynn Lowdermilk, Cameron Lowdermilk, Chasity Stilwell, Aaron Stilwell, and Mickenzie Pritchard. Also surviving are brothers, William and Jackie Presnell; sister, Rita Kincaid; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Kyle Hardin, Jr. and brothers, Clay and Elvis Presnell.
No services are planned at this time, but those wishing to pay respect to the family may go by the residence.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
