Loman Beshears

Loman Beshears, 69, of Morganton passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Born in Wilkes County, NC on July 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Zeb Beshears and Berlie Cornett Beshears. Loman worked for 60 years as a paper carrier for the News Herald. He started carrying the paper when he was 9 years old.He is survived by his wife, Louise Huffman Webb Beshears of the home; son, Cass Beshears and wife, Shirley; step-sons, Bobby Webb and wife, Roxanne, David Webb and wife, Marie; step-daughters, Mary W. Benfield and husband, Tony, Angela W. Story, all of Morganton, Susan W. McKinney of Lenoir; grandchildren, Cassie Beshears, J.R. Hahn; great grandchild, Kaidance Leonhardt; a large number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and sisters, Louise Coggins of Ridgeway, VA, Jean Fegieroa of Mocksville, NC and Iva Dean Hargett of Charlotte, NC.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-son, Michael E.
