Louise Berry Digh

Louise Berry Digh, 89, of Autumn Care of Drexel, NC died Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Born in Burke County, NC on December 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Zeb Presley Berry and Princess Ogle Berry. Louise was a life-long member of Enon Baptist Church and retired from Alba-Waldensian Hosiery.Louise is survived by her sons, Terry Michael Digh and wife, Brenda, of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Randy Keith Digh and wife, Kathy, of Drexel; a brother, Gary Berry of Morganton, NC; a sister, Josephine Poteet of Advance, NC; a sister-in-law, Blanche Berry of Valdese, NC; grandchildren, Michael Garrett Digh and wife, Jessica, and their twin sons, Liam and Seth, of Greensboro, NC, Kristan Digh Reeve and husband, Michael, and their two sons, Noland and Asher, of Greensboro, NC; Karey Brendle Digh of Charlotte, NC, who will always lovingly remember their "Mums."In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clarence Gold Digh, and a brother, Ned Gray Berry.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2010 at Enon Baptist Church with Reverends Gary Garner and Tito Madrazo officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
