Louise Caudle Beck, 91, of Autumn Care of Drexel, NC, formerly of Conley Road, died Friday, December 16, 2005 at Grace Hospital following a period of declining health. Born in Wake County on June 11, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Caudle and Emma Rebecca Hale Caudle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Odell Beck; a daughter, Annette Beck; granddaughter, Jo Louise Darden; five brothers, and four sisters. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook and was an avid quilter. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sallie B. Griffin and husband, Herbert, of Drexel; a son, Henry O. Beck, Jr., and wife, Reta, of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Henry Darden and wife, Michaela, of Drexel, Ann Pritchard of Valdese, and Adam Beck of Chapel Hill, NC; great-grandchildren, Joshua Darden, Zachary Darden, Jacob Darden, and Sarah Pritchard.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2005 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Thomas A. Bland, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
