Louise Fann Johnson

Louise Fann Johnson, 90, of Morganton died Saturday, May 25, 2019.  Born in Sampson County, NC on September 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ashford Fann and Arsenia Parker Fann.  Louise was a member of Glen Alpine First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, being with her grandchildren, church socials, and gospel music.

Louise is survived by children, Kay Effler, Robert “Bud” Johnson, Sr. (Lisa), and Seni Cassavaugh (Danny); 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Clute Fann; and sister, Zelda Stinehour.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur “Ott” Johnson; and a number of siblings.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.  The funeral will follow at 12 p.m. with Rev. Michael Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park.
