Louise Lail Pearson

Louise Lail Pearson, 87, of Morganton died Friday, February 14, 2014. She was born in Catawba County on December 21, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Dewey and Eula LaFone Lail. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Jefferson Pearson, and by brothers, D. W. Lail and Guy Lail. During World War II, Louise was a member of the Cadet Nurses Corp.Louise is survived by her sons, Ned Pearson of Greensboro, NC, Richard Pearson and his wife, Claudia of Birmingham, AL, and James Pearson and his wife, Judy, of Morganton; a sister, Joan Lail of Hickory; brother-in-law, Clarence "Ben" Pearson, of Morganton, sister-in-law, Lillian Lail of Lenoir; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.The funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Whittington officiating. A private family burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be Russ Pearson, Tim Pearson, Blake Pearson, Hunter Pearson, Conrad Pearson, Zac Pearson, and April Pearson Kerans.
