Louise McCall, 95, of Lenoir, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 12, 2016. Born in Caldwell County, NC on January 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Cameron McCall and Martha Price McCall. Louise was a member of Conway Chapel Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker who was loved and cherished by her family.
Mrs. McCall is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Brooks and her husband, Jerry; sons, Johnny McCall and Roger McCall and his wife, Linda; grandchildren, Kathy Woodie, Beth DeRoost, Bradley McCall, Chad McCall, Wesley Brooks, and Ashley Brooks; step-grandchildren, Dawn Henline, Tara Wheatly, and Alison DeMauro; great-grandchildren, Katie Woodie, Jordan DeRoost, Blaze McCall, and Cruize McCall; step-great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Henline, Kendal Henline, Jerry Henline, Holden Wheatley, and Dawson Wheatley; and a sister, Willa Dean Burges.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, John Vermont McCall; brothers, David, Donald, James, and Charles McCall; sisters, Leona Simmons, Mildred Turner, Annie White, Louellen Smith, Ruth Moore, Helen Clay, and Edith Meadlock; great-grandchild, Clifton Woodie; and step-great-grandchildren, Tate Teter and Laryn Teter.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Conway Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Curtis officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
