Mabel Cantor Lane, 76 of Morganton passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Burke Hospice Palliative Care Center after an extended battle with Alzheimer's. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215 or to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
