Margaret Bliss Owens, 64, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 9, 2024.
Born in Munich, Germany on August 18, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Bliss. Margaret came to the United States with her mother when she was five years of age.
She worked in Account Services and prepared taxes. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, and boating with her family. She was a hard worker and provider of her family. Family was her passion, and she was always giving a helping hand to anyone who was in need.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Margaret is survived by her husband, Shad Owens; daughter Jennifer Carpenter Ross and husband, Travis; grandchildren, Jacob Ross and Sarah Ross of Morganton; aunt, Heidi Bruder of Morganton; and nieces: Brooke Fox and Winter Fox.
The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2024 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
